The tennis section has approximately 40 members, with about a 60/40 split with men and women. It’s a very social club with lots of fun social Saturday afternoons and in-house social tournaments. They have 5 courts and a clubhouse that has a pub.

Berea tennis club
This competitive club was established in 1886 and had been responsible for providing outstanding tennis players ever since. The club is located at the corner of St Thomas and Berea Park Lane across the road from DHS school.

They have six courts which are overlooked by a pavilion/ verandah. In addition an adjoining covered deck provides protection from the sun, while spectators watch the games in comfort on a fine day, with a braai area nearby.

Chiltern tennis club
I used to play for this club on and off for many years since it was just across the road from my house. It has social organised tennis on 5 great courts.Social tennis on Saturday pm. Midweek ladies tennis. 3 floodlit courts available for hire.
